My take on Vista, former supporter
I still find that packages such as Impression, Ovation and Draw allow me a lot more flexibility when I'm designing (I don't do this as much as I used to but a lot more stable than a build such as Vista) but my point about second-guessing is where the OS keeps trying to make guesses about what I might do next.

I haven't tried to connect XP to Visa (or vice versa) because I am out of XP for good but it seems that when I tried to connect to Win2K from Vista I get exactly the same window with two blank textboxes: name and PW, as I get when I used to try to connect XP==>Win2K It is also my impression that security in Win2K

I haven't tried it myself, but the general impression I'm getting from reactions of people who *have* tried it is: it's *almost* as nice as Windows ME. In my brief exposure to Vista <g> I noticed that i'm going to have to relearn some things, but it just looks different ... not better. I think Dave has a point.
